The next thing I'm aiming to get is a switching system for my board. Basic requirements include MIDI and loop switching. Have considered a midi switcher (LF or Rocktron or similar) + switcher (Voodoo Lab Hex or similar), or else an integrated footswitch+switcher, a la the Gigrig's G2 or the G-Lab GSC-4. Of all the products, the G-Lab seems to be the most attractive in terms of feature set and price, but I've read very little about them and can only buy them online where I'm from. Has anyone tried these beauties out? The G2 is what Ed O'Brien is using, so I'd trust that sort of system to work well, but I think the GSC-4 is a good place to start. Only niggle I have with them is that they require a special power supply (or else midi power), and since I've already bought the mother of all power supplies (Cioks Ciokolate) I'm rather reluctant to have another power unit on my board. ![]() I might get a 5 pin to 7 pin adaptor (like Rocktron or FMAC make) but I don't have any experience with them. I haven't used the GSC-4, but gig with the GSC-3 regularly and absolutely love it. Very easy to set up and control loop combinations, MIDI PCs, and amp functions. Transparent sound, and been 100% reliable thus far. I have my first GSC3 bank of ten buttons set up for all the presets I need for our set list (and then some) with my main amp, and have the second bank set up for my backup amp, and a third bank for FX and amp channel 'instant access'. For power, I use a little IEC splitter device below to power it and my VoodooLab 4X4. Cheers, and let me know if I can answer any other questions about my experiences with it that might be helpful. Start typing in the 'Make' box to find your camera. If your camera is not listed in iSpy then click 'Get Latest List' when on the add camera wizard. Never a hitch in the (close to) 4 years that I own them. As mentioned, the only downside is their rather minimal manual and because they are a Polish company their English isn't all that concise. Not as bad as some Chinese manuals I've come across in the past, but it could be better. However I have found their customer service to be very good. I recall that whenever I had a question or problem they would respond quickly and help me out. Click to expand. That's odd. ![]() I always found them very helpful when I had questions about my MGC-6. I recall having the wrong power supply when I got it. I contacted them and they shipped it right away and I got it that same week. It's probably been a couple of years ago that I last contacted them, so I'm not sure what's going on with them. The wah ain't bad. Can't compare with the boutique and more expensive wahs like Castledine or Chase. It works with a photocell I believe, so there's less friction and wear & tear. I bought it mostly for its easy on/off switching (hate the standard on/off wah switches) and compact size. I have it on my grab-n-go board. I like the wah pad (same true bypass & easy on/off switching) the most since you can use any wah you like.
